Había oído muchas cosas, sobretodo malas y (ya que me he leido el libro hace poco) pues me animé a verla :-)
La verdad es que me parece que la gente ha exagerado mucho con esa película, a mi me parece que está bien, pero no es una obra maestra. Casi sigue el libro paso a paso, aunque se concede unas cuantas licencias (sobretodo al final) que me decepcionaron un poco, aunque la peor parte es la que tenía que haberse rodado en la Abadía de Westminster, en la que el libro hacía unas descripciones buenísimas, y que (no se por qué) no les permitieron rodar allí. Esa parte de la película queda un poco oscura.
Lo mejor: Silas! Aunque no me lo imaginaba así (le veía mas viejo y corpulento) me parece un actor genial, sin duda lo mejor de la película, aunque no expliquen bien su origen como en el libro pero es un gran personaje, está muy conseguido y además tiene un toque de sufrimiento que hace que comprendas porqué comete todos esos actos y el espectador sienta compasión por él.
Lo dicho: no sé si me la compraría en dvd, pero a mí me ha gustado |
